Ideas
I'm still working on my short stories. The plan right now is to write them as roughly as possible and just get some ideas out. Once I have a good number I will work with my brilliant writer friend who knows my vision and who always guides me in the right direction. And I need to apply for that kfw grant.
I also met someone who I will be collaborating with on the Africans in America book of essays I've had on my mind forever. So if you were born in Africa and live in the States now or if one of your parents is African, send me your info if you want to submit an essay.
It is interesting to see other people's points of view.
I also have 3 articles in my head that I need to get out:
1) Gender discrimination with young boys
2) Blogging - what it can do, good and bad
3) Married Single Parents....yes this is possible.
I have heard of people getting publishers from blogging, I MUST explore that avenue.

Long time no read, Mwabi. I'm glad to see some like yourself still consistent in the world of blogging. I once mentioned you to one of my best girlfriends and the last of the mohechians (actually she is one of my SAHM crew that I once kicked it with strong when we were part of Mocha Moms, Inc.). I mentioned the fact about a blogger I connected with from Africa. Longstoryshort, my almost 44 year old girl, ten years my senior, is from Zims or Zimbabwe. She's only been in the states 10 years. Has a couple cute kids from her "married and single parent" home life. I would love for her to connect with you. If this is still something you are interested in, get at me via email. I will definitely hook you two up. Maybe you could interview her, she can offer up info for your pieces, etc. She is an AWESOME women that I love to pieces. She says I keep her young and hip. We are the Felix and Oscar of our friends. The one thing I will never forget she stated in one of those "getting to know you" email chains was, "I didn't know they have light skin people from Africa?" To which she responded, "The white man been raping our people all over the world." She is a product of such an existence....
